Bridesmaids
Hannah looks so pretty in pink! This bridesmaid's dress needed the sides to be taken in. Just look at the fit!
Modifying a DressSo, what happens when you have a baby a month prior to a your friend's wedding and that bridesmaid's dress is just a little difficult to zipper? That's what happened to Steph! I removed the zipper and placed a corset back in her dress. You would never know this dress once had a zipper in it.
I have known Emily (above) since she was in high school. Hemming this pleated gown was a challenge, but oh, she looks so pretty!

Taylor (standing on the right in both pictures) has come to me so many times! Her smile is just as beautiful as her personality. No wonder she was asked to be a bridesmaid in one wedding and a grooms-woman (sporting a bridal jumpsuit) in another! (And I can't wait to alter HER wedding gown for her 2023 wedding!)
Beautiful and ConfidentHannah is one of my best customers! This dress had a problem that is typical for a strapless gown: the cups curled outward. So, I worked some seamstress magic and fixed that. I also took in the sides of this gown.
Custom-madeHere is a custom-made dress I created for my daughter. She was asked to wear a shade of rose-gold/blush for a wedding. We found the fabric and went to town. I might be biased, but I think she looks beautiful!
Providing "Support"By now, I'm hoping you are noticing that my clients come in all shapes and sizes. I am an inclusive bridal seamstress. Lura (below) was worried about how she was going to look in a bridesmaid dress that truly did not provide a whole lot of support for the "girls." Fortunately, for her, she was not the first client who has come to me with this very challenge! There are lots of ways to provide support and judging by the photo below, she was quite happy with the result!

Almost a Total RemakeThis is my mom. Her dress was almost a total remake due to her losing weight. I hemmed the dress, yet I really had to take in the sides of the dress a good amount. That involved removing the sleeves, as well as a good amount of the beading. Then, I needed to re-bead the dress when I was finished. She looks terrific (and so does my dad!).
Here's Cindy again (below), at her own daughter's wedding. She looks FANTASTIC in her MOB dress. (Don't you just love that train?!)
Shortening a Full-length Dress...she looks fantastic! My dressThe outfit above and to the right was for my friend Geri. Her son was getting married in Las Vegas. She showed me a skirt and a top she loves and asked me to re-make it for her in chiffon. The ruffle that trails down the front of the skirt has the word, "LOVE" written on it in lots of different languages! The writing was done by Line and Letter Designs .

MOG (Cindy) on the left and MOB (Pam) on the right were so much fun to work with. They are stunning in their dresses after I did many alterations on both dresses. They ranged from hemming, to taking in the sides, to adding boning, and adjusting sleeves.
Let's add a little bling...Emily's mom felt her dress was just a little too plain. So, we decided to add a little bit of beading to the neckline. I could have gone with something bigger, however, I noticed she wore dainty jewelry. Those bugle beads brought her just the right amount of sparkle.
