Fran was so kind and generous with alterations for my dress! She made me feel like a QUEEEN for my wedding day! I did not realize all the alterations you could do to a dress to make it look spectacular! But im so glad we got the chance to work together! She took my dress and inserted a simple but beautiful bustle to make sure i wouldn't wipe out on the dance floor! From the jump, Fran was fabulous and made me feel that way too! Fran altered a bridesmaid dress for me for an October 2020 wedding. She was responsive, timely, and very pleasant to work with! Her work space was beautiful and clean, and she was very timely in returning the dress to me. The dress fit perfectly after one appointment! Her pricing was also very reasonable.

Fran worked so hard to make my dress perfect for me, and I even had it a couple weeks before my wedding day! She was always very responsive and professional in emails, and has a very nice studio in her home for clients. She would not stop with my dress until it was perfect! You couldn't even tell that she added whole sections of lace to account for the alterations, it all looked as if it had came like that (and I wish it had :) ) Go to Fran for all dress needs, she knows what she's doing even with the hardest fabrics to handle.

My best advice to future clients: Get a custom veil from Fran (even if you don't think you want one). Fran made a custom veil for me using the lace from my great-grandmother's veil (it was over 100 years old)! She also took the time to listen to all of my needs and concerns (I'm pretty picky) and the final result was exactly what I wanted! My dress needed to be completely reconstructed at one point for her to make the necessary adjustments– she went the extra mile to do everything I needed and more! I was hesitant at first to agree with her recommendation to add a structured slip underneath my dress completely, but in the end it totally exceeded my expectations! Thanks for your hard work, Fran!
